Consultation
Professional Guidance Before You Act
Service Description
Starting or restructuring a business in a new legal and tax environment naturally raises questions. A professional consultation helps bring structure, clarity, and realistic expectations before decisions are made. At DigiSettle, consultations are designed as a working session, not a sales call. What a Consultation Is and What It Is Not A consultation is: - a structured review of your situation, - a space to clarify priorities and risks, - an opportunity to understand how the Estonian system applies to you. A consultation is not: - a replacement for free public information, - a promise of specific tax outcomes, - a shortcut around compliance. When a Consultation Is Especially Useful A consultation is recommended if you: - are planning to apply for e-Residency, - already hold an e-Residency card and want to open a company, - are unsure how taxation applies to your situation, - need clarity on salary, dividends, or expenses, - want to understand obligations before committing, - feel overwhelmed by fragmented information online. If you have many questions at once - that is usually the right moment. What We Typically Cover Depending on your situation, a consultation may include: - overview of e-Residency and company structure, - tax and compliance considerations, - salary and dividend logic, - business expenses and documentation, - reporting obligations, - risks and common misconceptions, - realistic next steps. Not all topics are mandatory - the focus is on relevance, not volume. Format and Duration Duration: approximately 60 minutes Format: video consultation or in-person (upon request) Preparation: brief context provided by you in advance This allows the session to stay focused and productive. Why Consultations Are Paid Consultations require time, attention, and professional responsibility. They are a fair exchange for clarity, experience, and structured guidance. At the same time, free sources of information remain valuable and should be used. The difference lies in applying general knowledge to a specific situation. What Happens After After the consultation, you will have: - a clearer understanding of your position, - structured answers to your key questions, an informed basis for further decisions. There is no obligation to continue cooperation. Some clients do - others simply move forward independently, better informed. Both outcomes are valid.
